Huge success of Gyan Putra student
We are happy to share great news with you.
A Gyan Putra girl student Nirma Tanwar from our Jadan School scored excellent result in 10th class Rajasthan Board Examinations and achieved second best percentage on the Pali district level among 30674 students of 10th class who participated at exams. Her success story was widely covered by all local newspapers as she comes from a poor family which has the only income from selling the vegetables and flowers at the movable stall in Sojat City. All media mentioned she was given free education in our School under Gyan Putra Scholarship Scheme.
School remains closed due to Corona
Due to the current Corona pandemic and the resulting restrictions for the Indian population, our students are not allowed to return to school, yet. We hope that the situation will improve as soon as possible and that our students will have the opportunity to study in our school in Jadan again soon. May all stay healthy and fill the school building with life again in the future.
Adjustment of sponsorship fee
To reduce the costs for the parents and therefore allow more students the possibility to attend our school, we raised the sponsorship fee to 150 Euros per year, beginning in July 2018.
This will drastically decrease the financial burden of the parents and therefore hopefully allow many children from very poor families to attend our school and to get a chance for a better future.
We hope that due to this change we created a long-term basis for the continuity of the Gyan Putra project, without the need for adapting the sponsorship fee anytime soon.
We would be happy if you could pay the higher amount, if this is possible for you. Otherwise we are thankful for any donation, no matter how much.
